Device repairs
Assessment of phones, tablets, laptops and computers used as assistive technology, including selected screen, battery and charging-port repairs.
NDIS and assistive technology support
Practical repair, setup and technology support for phones, tablets, laptops and computers used for communication, accessibility, learning and everyday independence.
iWorkshop can assist NDIS participants, families, carers and support coordinators with relevant mainstream technology repairs and support. Please confirm that the requested service can be paid for under the participant’s plan before work proceeds.

We do not claim NDIS registration or guarantee funding approval. Funding and payment arrangements should be confirmed before work starts.
How iWorkshop may help
Support depends on the device, its condition, the work required and the availability of suitable parts or software options.

Practical support with apps, email, video calls, device protection, chargers, cables and suitable accessories.
Repair quotes and itemised invoices can be discussed where required. Confirm the information needed before approving work.
We explain the condition, practical repair options, parts availability, timing and cost before paid work begins.
Funding and scope
NDIS funding and claiming arrangements vary. iWorkshop cannot determine funding eligibility or guarantee claim approval.
Confirm the requested repair or service can be paid for under the participant’s plan and confirm any invoice requirements with the relevant plan manager or funding contact.
Self-managed participants generally pay their provider and make their own claim. Plan-managed participants should confirm funding and invoice requirements with their plan manager before authorising work.
For specialised, customised or higher-risk assistive technology, speak with an appropriate assistive-technology advisor, assessor, allied health professional or the original equipment provider.
For an owned device, iWorkshop can assess a relevant mainstream repair. For hired or leased equipment, the hire or lease provider may be the appropriate first contact.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme has specific current requirements for repairs, quotes and claims. Check current NDIS guidance and your individual plan before proceeding.
